Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center (FSWC) is one of Canada’s leading human rights and social advocacy organizations. Inspired by the legacy of Simon Wiesenthal, FSWC works to build a more inclusive and respectful Canada by sharing the lessons of the Holocaust, advocating for human rights and combatting both antisemitism and hate in all its forms.
FSWC produces a wide range of programming, workshops, special events and other initiatives, both in person and online. FSWC’s initiatives focus on Holocaust education and studies and aim to foster the values of respect and acceptance, while teaching the responsibilities of citizenship in a democratic society like Canada. FSWC is affiliated with the Simon Wiesenthal Center, an international human rights organization in Los Angeles, which has an official NGO presence at the United Nations, UNESCO, the Council of Europe and the Latin American Parliament.
