The picture book, I Can, Too!, by Canadian author Karen Autio, is a celebration of inclusivity, and a reminder that each of us is unique, and brings a distinctive set of skills to the world. The two main protagonists, Piper and Kayla, lead the story in showcasing characters from diverse backgrounds and a range of abilities, providing a valuable lesson for all readers about the importance of acceptance and an appreciation of differences. The illustrations in I Can, Too! are vibrant and colourful. The story encourages children to believe in themselves and their abilities!
