FSWC Demands Answers After Amnesty International Employee Turns Civilian Over to Hamas for Speaking with Israelis

FSWC has reached out to Amnesty International Canada in search of answers after an Amnesty employee allegedly reported a civilian to Hamas for the crime of “engaging in normalization activity” with Israelis. According to multiple media reports, the employee wrote a Facebook post condemning a Gazan civilian for taking part in a Zoom call with an Israeli peace group and tagged a number of high-ranking Hamas officials in her post. Soon afterward, the civilian was detained by the Hamas security service and has not been heard from since.

Aroma Cafe in Toronto Defaced with Antisemitic Graffiti for Second Time in Two Weeks

FSWC has received reports that a downtown Toronto Aroma cafe has been covered with antisemitic graffiti for the second time in two weeks. According to reports, the Aroma location at 540 College Street was defaced today with graffiti that reads “Zionists are not welcome,” similar to the message written on the storefront on March 29 that has already been painted over.

According to a report published last week by the Estonian newspaper Eesti Ekspress, Estonian security officials had investigated a case involving a 13-year-old boy who allegedly was running a group, Feuerkrieg Division, that has advocated for a race war and promotes extreme views of the white supremacist movement.

Nazi Death Camp Buchenwald Quietly Marks 75 Years Since Liberation

Authorities in the state of Thuringia have been forced to cancel multiple commemoration events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Buchenwald concentration camp due to the coronavirus outbreak. On Saturday, just employees of the camp's present-day museum marked the occasion by laying wreaths.
