Italy’s Holocaust Executioners Revealed in ‘Historiographical Counterblast’

In a book to be published on August 28, “The Italian Executioners: The Genocide of the Jews of Italy,” author Simon Levis Sullam reveals his findings following research into the fate of more than 6,000 Italian Jews who were murdered in the Holocaust. His findings reveal the antisemitism that existed in the country and the thousands of Italian civilians that helped Nazis murder the country’s Jews – directly contradicting commonly held beliefs that Italians did not cooperate with Nazis.

Christian Picciolini: I was a white supremacist. One year after Charlottesville, I’m helping others break the cycle of hate.

In an opinion piece published on Sunday, former white supremacist and speaker at the upcoming Freedom Day Christian Picciolini tells his story and shares his take on how people can begin to counter radical extremists through radical empathy. “Empathy and compassion are the only things I’ve ever seen truly break the cycle of hate…It’s also what saved my life,” writes Picciolini.

Photos Reveal UK Labour Leader at Event Honouring Palestinian Terrorists

In the photos from 2014, UK Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn is seen holding a memorial wreath just feet from the graves of Palestinian Black September terrorists who killed 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympics. Sources close to Corbyn insisted he was at the service to commemorate 47 Palestinians killed in an Israeli air strike in 1985, even though a monument to the air strike victims was 15 yards away.

PA Has Paid $294,332 to Jerusalem Pizzeria Bombers Who Killed 15

The Palestinian Authority has paid $294,332 and continues to provide monthly payments the bomb builder and suicide-bomber’s family since the 2001 terror attack at a Sbarro pizzeria in downtown Jerusalem. The family of the suicide bomber, who killed 15 people and injured another 130, the terrorist who planned the attack and the bomb builder will have cumulatively received at least $294,332 by September 2018 for their actions.

Israeli Runner Wins Gold, Makes History in European Athletics Championships

Lonah Korlima Chemtai Salpeter made history last week, becoming the first Israeli to win a gold medal in the European Athletics Championships after winning the women’s 10,000-meter run in Berlin. She completed the race nine seconds ahead of second-place winner Susan Krumins of the Netherlands.

Stand Up Against Hate at the Upcoming Freedom Day

FSWC's Freedom Day is just a few weeks away! We invite educators from across Ontario to bring students to this one-day event created to commemorate the life of Simon Wiesenthal and to carry on his legacy of tolerance, justice and human rights. The event is being held at Yonge-Dundas Square on September 18 and will welcome some incredible and inspiring speakers, including former white supremacist turned peace advocate Christian Picciolini and Holocaust survivor and author Max Eisen.
