According to a report published on Friday, Polish diplomat Wojciech Rychlewicz helped save hundreds of Jewish refugees fleeing Nazis by issuing them false certificates that identified them as Christians. Iran Executes Journalist Ruhollah Zam in Widely Condemned Move

The execution of Iranian dissident journalist Ruhollah Zam, who was convicted of fomenting violence during the 2017 anti-government protests, drew immediate international condemnation, with Canada stating journalists perform "essential work" and that Ottawa would hold "Iran accountable for its violations of human rights."

"Time for Canada to impose Magnitsky sanctions on the Iranian regime and those responsible for their ongoing campaign of repression and brutality against the Iranian people," said FSWC President and CEO Michael Levitt in a post on social media.
