Tonight: TDSB Trustees to Vote on Censure of Colleague Who Condemned Antisemitism
Yesterday, Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center sent a letter to Toronto District School Board trustees, urging they reject the unjust targeting of a Jewish trustee and vote against censuring her for speaking out against antisemitism. A vote will be held during this evening's virtual Board meeting.

University of Toronto Student Union Walks Back BDS Resolution That Had Called for a Ban on Kosher Foods
Following outcry from Jewish groups and condemnation from the University of Toronto administration, the university's Scarborough Campus Students' Union revised its recently passed BDS resolution, removing its proposed ban on kosher food suppliers that support Israel.

Jewish civil servants met the prime minister's special envoy on fighting antisemitism to ask for support dealing with anti-Jewish abuse and slurs in the federal public service. The government officials have formed a support network to provide a "safe space" where they can share experiences of antisemitism and to change the culture in the sector.
Ottawa Man Faces 26 Hate-Motivated Charges for Antisemitic Posters
Ottawa police have made an arrest in an investigation into antisemitic posters found in west-end neighbourhoods. Wednesday, police announced that 29-year-old Paul Koppe of Ottawa faces 26 counts of hate-motivated mischief.
Holocaust Survivor Testifies Against Former Typist at Concentration Camp Who Signed His Father’s Death Certificate
Eighty-three-year-old Holocaust survivor Josef Salomonovic testified in court on Tuesday against Irmgard Furchner, 96, who was a stenographer at Stutthof concentration camp and stamped his father’s death certificate. Furchner, who has been called the “secretary of evil,” is accused of being an accessory to the murder of 11,412 people between 1943 and 1945.
