US House, Senate Launch Bipartisan, Bicameral Abraham Accords Caucus
A bipartisan group of congressional lawmakers has announced a new caucus to support the Abraham Accords to help strengthen the peace agreements by encouraging partnerships among the existing countries and expanding the agreement to include other ones that do not currently have diplomatic relations with Israel.
FSWC commends this new initiative that will help build on the success of the Abraham Accords and further advance peace and prosperity in the Middle East.
Community Update: Antisemitic Graffiti Found in Markham Removed, Reported to Police
Antisemitic graffiti found in Markham over the weekend has been removed and reported to the York Regional Police. In a statement on Twitter, Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti condemned the graffiti, stating the "vile & hateful markings have no place in our community," while Minister Mary Ng, MP for Markham-Thornhill, stated that "antisemitism is unacceptable" and that she stands with the Jewish community.
FSWC thanks the City of Markham for quickly removing the hateful graffiti and the government leaders who spoke out in solidarity with the Jewish community against antisemitism.
120 Artists, Industry Officials Slam Boycott of Sydney Festival Over Israeli Funding
Over 120 entertainment industry figures signed an open letter against the boycott of a major cultural festival in Sydney, Australia, that began Thursday, after 30 acts and individuals withdrew over a sponsorship deal with the Israeli embassy.
Prince Charles Commissions Holocaust Survivor Portraits
