Russia's justice ministry has gone to court in a bid to shut down the Russian branch of the Jewish Agency, which organizes Jewish immigration to Israel. Israel's diaspora affairs minister, Nachman Shai, condemned the court case, seeing it as punishment for Israel's stance on the Ukraine war.

Restaurant That Made Antisemitic Anne Frank Joke About Weather Apologizes

A restaurant in Rhode Island has issued an apology following backlash to an offensive meme featuring a photo of Anne Frank it posted on social media. The post was deleted after people and organizations accused the restaurant of antisemitism and making light of the Holocaust.

"The increased use of Anne Frank to make comparisons and memes is incredibly disturbing, offensive and an affront to the memory of every child whose life was cut short in the Holocaust," FSWC stated online. "Such displays of ignorance must be countered with Holocaust education."

UN Official: Social Media Largely Controlled by Jewish Lobby, NGOs

One of the three members of the “UN Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and in Israel” accused the "Jewish lobby" of controlling social media and said the Commission of Inquiry will “tackle this issue of how far you can take antisemitism.”

"It's been made abundantly clear that obsessive anti-Israel bias is driving this UN Human Rights Council Commission of Inquiry. Now, one of its members is spreading antisemitic tropes," FSWC said in an online post. "Canada and other nations must speak out and put an end to this illegitimate inquiry."

A French University Confronts Medical Crimes and Its Nazi Past

From 1941 to 1944, professors on the medical faculty at Reichsuniversität Strassburg, today's University of Strasbourg in the Alsace region in France, forced at least 250 people from concentration or death camps to undergo experiments. The refusal to confront the past is being challenged, with the release of a 500-page report in which the university confirms the medical crimes committed by professors and that the school had worked closely with a nearby concentration camp.
