Over 50,000 Supporters March in Walk With Israel Rally in Toronto

Sunday's annual UJA Walk with Israel in Toronto was attended by a record-breaking 50,000 people, Jews and allies alike. The march also featured survivors from Kibbutz Be’eri, an Israeli community on the border with Gaza that suffered heavy casualties following the Oct. 7 invasion by Hamas. FSWC was pleased to participate in the rally.

U of T Says Pro-Palestinian Protesters Rejected Latest Offer

The University of Toronto said its proposal has been rejected by demonstrators who set up camp on campus more than a month ago. The university said the proposal was "commensurate with or more comprehensive than the agreements that have resolved encampments at peer institutions."

Man Charged After Rock Thrown Through Window of Toronto Synagogue: TPS

The Toronto Police Service said a 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged after a rock was thrown through the window of a downtown synagogue more than a week ago. Last week, Toronto police confirmed with FSWC that a suspect was arrested in connection with the vandalism of the Anshei Minsk shul in Toronto's Kensington Market.

Rescued hostages Noa Argamani, Shlomi Ziv, Almog Meir Jan and Andrey Kozlov were found to be malnourished during initial medical tests at Sheba Medical Center on Saturday, but the mental influence of their captivity had yet to be established.
