Sgt. Lia Ben Nun, 19, Staff Sgt. Ori Yitzhak Iluz, 20, and Staff Sgt. Ohad Dahan, 20, were laid to rest on Sunday as thousands paid their final respects. The three IDF soldiers were killed over the weekend by an Egyptian policeman who infiltrated through the Israeli-Egyptian border.

Emirati entrepreneur Ahmed Obaid Al Mansoori, the man behind the first and only Holocaust exhibition in the Arab world, was recently in Montreal, meeting with President of the Foundation for Genocide Education Heidi Berger and speaking on stage at a recent fundraiser about combatting Holocaust denial. He calls the Holocaust “the biggest crime against humanity,” especially shocking because it “happened in the most civilized country on the most civilized continent.”

A prominent member of the far-right Alternative for Germany party, Björn Höcke allegedly used the banned motto of the Nazis' Stormtroopers SA paramilitary wing, "Everything for Germany," at a 2021 election event. Höcke was charged Monday with "the public use of a symbol of a former National Socialist organization."
US Weighs in on Roger Waters Antisemitism Debate, Says Artist Has Long History of Denigrating Jews
Following a press briefing on Monday, the US State Department stated Roger Waters has "a long track record of using antisemitic tropes to denigrate Jewish people" and his concert in Germany late last month "contained imagery that is deeply offensive to Jewish people and minimized the Holocaust."
Birchmount Football Team Gets $40,000 in Donations for New Equipment
Howard Sokolowski and David Cynamon, former owners of the Toronto Argonauts and devout philanthropists in the Jewish community, offered to donate $20,000 to outfit Birchmount Park’s high school football team with new helmets the school couldn't afford.
From supporting Holocaust education to helping children get involved in school activities, kudos to Cynamon - who sits on FSWC’s Board of Directors - and Sokolowski for their ongoing generosity.
