A Holocaust Survivor Received the COVID-19 Vaccine from a Very Special Doctor: Her Granddaughter
The time it took to administer the needle was short, but Dr. Jordana Sacks says its impact will stay with her forever.
“As a kid, she’s Bubbe — you don’t necessarily realize the survivor aspect of the story. My parents didn’t love to speak about [the Holocaust] when I was a kid. Only when I became an adult and became more conscious of these things did I really realize and appreciate what she went through.”
Montreal Auction House Suspended, Holocaust and Nazi Relics Removed from Online Platform Following FSWC Action
Following action by FSWC, online auction platform liveauctioneers.com has suspended Montreal auction house Madison's Historical and removed the disturbing Holocaust and Nazi relics that were being sold. The auction house has also taken down its website.
“We are pleased to see the quick removal of the Holocaust and Nazi relics from this online platform but are disappointed to see the lack of sensitivity and understanding from the auction house, which not only chose to sell and make a profit from these items but also glorified many of the items, including calling a Zyklon B gas canister used at a concentration camp ‘the holy grail’ and a 'lifetime opportunity.’ This is utterly grotesque and an insult to the 6 million Jews and millions of others who were murdered by the Nazi regime," said FSWC President and CEO Michael Levitt.

Miami Heat Say Meyers Leonard Will Be Away from Team Indefinitely While NBA Probes Use of Antisemitic Slur
Miami Heat center Meyers Leonard will be away from the team indefinitely, the organization said in a statement Tuesday night, while the NBA conducts an investigation into his use of an antisemitic slur during a recent video game livestream. Leonard apologized for using the slur in an Instagram post, stating, "my ignorance about its history and how offensive it is to the Jewish community is absolutely not an excuse and I was just wrong."
BDS Groups from US and Europe Team Up with Iran and Hamas Against Israel
BDS groups in Europe and North America took part in an event with the Iranian regime, leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, and other terrorist groups earlier this year. Two related events were broadcast simultaneously from Gaza and Tehran, on January 18, with the Gaza event called “Year to Confront Normalization” and the Iranian event called “Together Against Normalization.”
"Disturbed to learn that BDS supporters and anti-Israel activists joined forces with Iran, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. A reminder that under Canadian law, Iran is designated a state sponsor of terror, and Hamas and PIJ are listed as terror groups," said FSWC President and CEO Michael Levitt in an online post.
