FSWC Demands Hate Crime Investigation After Aroma Cafe Defaced with Antisemitic Graffiti
The Aroma location at 540 College Street was defaced with graffiti that read “Zionists not welcome.” Police have reported to FSWC that they are actively investigating the incident and are in process of conducting a canvass of the neighbourhood in search of surveillance video that may have captured the perpetrators.

Blue and White Party leader Benny Gantz has agreed to form a unity government with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, ending political deadlock in Israel amid the coronavirus pandemic. Previously vowing he would never enter a unity government with Netanyahu, Gantz made the announcement over the weekend, asking leaders to put "personal scores aside" and stating he did "what my nation needs" while Israel remains in a state of emergency.

FSWC is saddened to learn of the death of Rabbi Josef Neumann who was one of five victims of the machete attack that took place during a Hanukkah celebration in Monsey, New York. Neumann was the most gravely wounded victim, sustaining multiple stab wounds. May his memory be a blessing.
