FSWC Stands with Israel Amid Ongoing Terror Campaign
In response to the ongoing terror campaign being waged against Israel, Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center issued a statement yesterday condemning "the ongoing barrage of rockets being launched into Israel by the terror group Hamas" that are being fired indiscriminately at civilian targets in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and throughout Israel. "There is no moral equivalence in the current conflict taking place between Israel and Hamas militants. As Hamas commits acts of warfare and terror, Israel is doing what any other country under attack would do – defending its land and people," the statement reads.

Canadian Court Reverses Settlement Product Labeling Requirement
Products of Israeli companies in Judea and Samaria can be labeled “Made in Israel” for sale in Canada, after Canada’s Federal Court of Appeals reversed a lower court’s ruling that would have required labeling of settlement product. The court determined that the lower court’s decision was made improperly and was not binding, and that the decision should go back to Canada’s Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), which had previously allowed wines made by Jews in Judea and Samaria to be labeled products of Israel.
