Canada Failed to Deal with Their WWII Nazis Residents

Not a single one of the eight Nazi war criminals who chose to fight against their deportation from Canada, including Helmut Oberlander, was deported from the country, writes Efraim Zuroff, chief Nazi-hunter at the Simon Wiesenthal Center. "It’s fair to say that the Canadian government has utterly failed to rid Canada of individuals who did not deserve the right to live in peace and tranquility, a privilege they helped deny their innocent victims."

Canadian Forces Owes It to Veterans Not to Train Neo-Nazis, Says Antisemitism Group

The Canadian Forces should conduct an investigation into allegations its troops have trained neo-Nazis in Ukraine and develop a system to ensure such instruction doesn’t take place in the future, said Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center, which has written Acting Chief of the Defence Staff Gen. Wayne Eyre and Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan requesting such an investigation after a U.S. university published a report about far-right extremists being trained by Canada.

Senior Leader at Thunder Bay, Ont., Hospital Removed After Nazi Imagery Discovered on His Social Media

The hospital in Thunder Bay, Ont., has removed a senior official from a leadership council for violating its social media policy after images of Nazi-affiliated items were discovered on his Facebook page. In over a dozen posts to his public Facebook page, mostly in 2012, there were images of swastikas, a bronze sculpture of Adolf Hitler and a military badge, among other items.

"The public flaunting of Nazi memorabilia is absurd and quite disturbing. These items belong in institutions where education and discussions about the history and context behind the items can occur. The hospital made the right decision," Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center stated in an online post.
