TORONTO (March 8, 2018) - Friendsof Simon Wiesenthal Center strongly condemns the upcoming ‘Israeli Apartheid Week’on Queen’s University Campus.
IsraeliApartheid Week is a biased campaign of anti-Israel propaganda that routinely cropsup on campuses to denounce and demonize the Jewish state. It is scheduled torun at Queen’s from March 12-16.
“It’sdisturbing to see a Canadian university once again serve as the backdrop forthis annual hate fest,” said Avi Benlolo, President and CEO of FSWC. “Post-secondarystudents have the right to an education free from intimidation, yet this eventhas historically left Jewish and Israeli students feeling targeted where theyshould otherwise feel safe. We encourage Queen’s staff and students to take astand and reject this discriminatory campaign.”
Israel on Campus is offering helpand advice to pro-Israel students attending Queen’s University.
