Toronto (October 9, 2018) - In light of her resignation, Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center (FSWC) applauds Nikki Haley and her accomplishments as a UN ambassador who stood up for human rights and was a true leader and defender of the Jewish State of Israel.

“It’s deeply concerning to hear about the resignation of Nikki Haley as US Ambassador to the UN,” said FSWC President and CEO Avi Benlolo. “Nikki was a lone voice in the UN for human rights, freedom and democracy. She called out the world's despots and stood up for Israel and America.”

During Haley’s time at the UN, the world witnessed her counter anti-Israel bias and speak out against Palestinian incitement and terrorism as well as human rights offenders around the world.

Haley will continue to serve as UN ambassador until the end of the year.
