TORONTO - On Wednesday, December 13th, Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies (FSWC) will be celebrating Tour for Humanity's 4th Birthday!
Tour for Humanity is an award-winning mobile human rights education centre that travels the province of Ontario, reaching tens of thousands of Ontario elementary and high school students each year - teaching lessons of tolerance, justice and human rights. Through innovative programming, FSWC teaches about the Holocaust, genocide and human rights issues that have impacted Canada, while empowering youth to raise their voice and speak out against hatred and intolerance.
"We are thrilled to be celebrating the Tour for Humanity, a program that is making a difference each and every day," said FSWC President & CEO Avi Benlolo. "We don't just speak out against hatred and intolerance - we do something about it. And through our actions, we work to inspire youth to do the same."
