TORONTO (July 12, 2017) – Friendsof Simon Wiesenthal Center (FSWC) condemns the gathering of a hate group –consisting of individuals with ties to the neo-Nazi and Holocaust denyingmovement – that is to take place today at Richview Library.
After reaching out to the library,FSWC confirmed that a meeting room has been provided for what is allegedlygoing to be a memorial for Barbara Kulaszka – who previously acted asco-counsel for infamous Holocaust denier Ernst Zündel. The room was booked under the name Frederick Fromm – otherwise known as PaulFromm, who is a white nationalist with neo-Nazi ties.
“The library’s policy is calledinto question for providing a space to individuals who promote hate, racism andantisemitism,” says Avi Benlolo, FSWC President and CEO.
Along with Fromm, the gatheringwill supposedly also be attended by Lynda Mortl, who has defended Zündelin the past, and Canadian white nationalist Marc Lemire.
FSWC has since expressed itsconcern to the library.
