Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center (FSWC) condemns the horrific mass shootings that killed 49 people and seriously injured at least 20 others at two mosques in New Zealand.
“Today we stand in solidarity with the Muslim community and stand up against growing racism and hatred around the world,” said FSWC President and CEO Avi Benlolo. “People should never have to fear for their safety when going to a place of worship. Prayers go out to the victims and families whose lives have forever changed because of this senseless attack.”
According to reports, one man in his 20s has been charged with murder and three others have been arrested.
