Toronto (July 12, 2018) - Friends of Simon WiesenthalCenter (FSWC) condemns the latest distribution of Your Ward News, this time inthe Central Frederick neighbourhood of downtown Kitchener.

Several residents reportedly received copies of thepublication – known for its promotion of hate and intolerance – this week. While hate crime charges were laid against the editor and publisherlast year and Canada Post was banned from distributing the publication back in2016, it continues to be delivered by unknown individuals.

“This is an antisemitic, racist and hate-filled publicationthat still manages to make its way to people’s mailboxes and doorsteps. Membersof communities across Ontario must remain vigilant and share their concernswith city officials,” said FSWC President and CEO Avi Benlolo.

FSWC has advised the mayor of Kitchener of therecent distribution and calls on city officials to join in condemning Your WardNews and the messages it spreads.
