Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center (FSWC) notes today’s announced nomination for US Ambassador to the UN,Heather Nauert, who will be replacing Nikki Haley.

Nauert currently serves as the US Department of State spokesperson and is a former Fox News anchor and news reporter.

“Congratulations to Heather Nauert on this nomination. While Nikki Haley left big shoes to fill and will be missed for her ability to stand up for human rights and against UN bias, we are optimistic that Heather will carry this legacy forward,” said FSWC President and CEO Avi Benlolo.
