Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center(FSWC) joins in recognizing Indigenous Peoples Day and celebrating the cultureand contributions of Canada’s First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.

Through the Tour for Humanity andother educational initiatives, FSWC regularly educates students about Canadianhistory, including its woeful legacy of residential schools, while underscoringthe importance of countering intolerance and promoting human rights. 

FSWC encourages Canadians to seeIndigenous Peoples Day as an opportunity to better familiarize themselves withCanada's Indigenous heritage and its vital significance to our country.
