Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center (FSWC) is supporting and standing in solidarity with Leo Baeck Day School after its South campus was targeted with anti-Israel graffiti.

According to an email from the head of Leo Baeck, Eric Petersiel, the slogan “Free Palestine” was found on the school’s sign, a Canadian flagpole and a UJA sign close to the school’s front entrance this morning.

“We deplore and condemn the hateful graffiti targeting the school and by extension, the Jewish community,” said FSWC President and CEO Avi Benlolo, who reached out to the school expressing support and solidarity.

Toronto Police Service has confirmed that the incident is being investigated.
