FSWC Takes Action After Toronto Judaica Store Vandalized, Robbed

Toronto (March 25, 2020) - Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center (FSWC) has reached out to police demanding an aggressive investigation after a Toronto Judaica store was vandalized and robbed yesterday.

According to the owner of Aleph Bet Judaica, located on Bathurst Street south of the 401, the store had its windows smashed and its till emptied in the early morning hours when no employee was in the store.

FSWC has pressed police for a complete canvas of the area, including a thorough review of all video surveillance footage, in the effort to identify the suspect or suspects.

Due to the spread of coronavirus, Aleph Bet Judaica is currently closed to walk in customers but is open for email and phone orders.
