In Fond Memory of Vera Schiff, Holocaust Survivor and Long-time Friend of FSWC

Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center is saddened to share that Vera Schiff, a Holocaust survivor and long-time friend of FSWC, has passed away. Vera dedicated her life in Canada to educating people about the Holocaust and the importance of standing up against hate, sharing her testimony with thousands of students across the country. Most recently, she participated in FSWC’s Legacy Portrait Project, which captured her large family of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

We send our heartfelt condolences to her loved ones and anyone who was fortunate to know her. May her memory forever be a blessing.
