Today on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we honour the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by standing up to discrimination, hate and injustice.

Martin Luther King Jr.’s messages of peace, tolerance and equality inspire the work FSWC does each and every day through educational events and programs that empower people of all ages to help make the world a better place.

Today, the Tour for Humanity bus – FSWC’s mobile human rights education centre – is in Oakville educating some 150 students about the Holocaust, human rights and the importance of standing up to hate and intolerance. To date, the Tour for Humanity has reached 170,000 Canadian students, teachers and other community members, drawing inspiration from heroes like Martin Luther King Jr. to inspire others to be changemakers and make a positive difference in the world.
