Toronto (April 21, 2020)  - Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center (FSWC) is disgusted by a Vancouver-based BDS group calling on the Israeli government to release from prison terrorists who were convicted of murdering Jewish civilians.

The Canada Palestine Association campaigned this week for the release of a number of prisoners in Israeli jails they refer to as “freedom fighters”. The “freedom fighters” the group wishes to see walk free include Ahmad Sa’dat, a former leader of terrorist group PFLP who was convicted in 2007 for the assassination of Israeli politician Rehavam Ze'evi.

Last November, FSWC exposed the Canada Palestine Association for engaging in Holocaust denial after the group claimed that Jews did not suffer during the Holocaust and in fact collaborated with Nazi Germany.
