Last night, Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center (FSWC)'s generationNOW program, alongside Duet Events, hosted a special event in Toronto, bringing together young Jewish professionals for a night of much-needed unity, laughter and positivity at a time when our community is the target of unprecedented hate.
New York-based stand-up comedian, podcaster, writer and TV host Jared Freid was the main highlight of the evening. Showing what has made him so successful, he had the audience in stitches from the moment he took the stage.
FSWC thanks the 300 people who attended last night’s event, and extends a special thank you to everyone involved in making it such a great success, including Alexa Tepperman and Aja Zylberberg of Duet Events and our generationNOW chairs Lexi Blitzer, Ashley Eisenberg and Jordana Teperman.
In this time of rising antisemitism and division, FSWC attaches special significance to engaging young people to stand up against hate and be strong advocates for the Jewish community. Learn more about our generationNOW initiative here.
